Sometimes, it becomes difficult to stomach down a reality but one has got no other alternative. The iconic Adelaide Oval cricket stadium played a host to the first Day/Night cricketing affairs between India and Australia. The host shattered the Indian hopes into pieces as the match entered into Day 3. As the Aussies ruled the roost from the word go, the Indian squad was forced to bite the dust by the end of the second session. Australia won by 8 wickets as they hunted down the 90 runs target very comfortably.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team remains under the lens of severe scrutiny in the eyes of the fans and experts. Social media has gone berserk after India’s comprehensive defeat on foreign soil. And as usual, it is the Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma who is facing the heat. The modern master is set to return back to his country land as his lady-luck will give birth to their first child in January.

Therefore, the emotionally-charged fans have taken jibes and potshots at the Bollywood diva. Not to everyone’s surprise, she has been a victim of such kind in the past as well. After India’s semi-final exit in 2015, Twitter busted out alleging her to be the reason for Virat’s ordinary rendition with the willow.

Talking about the course of the first Test match, the Indian batting unit fell like a pack of cards as the Kohli-led side were bundled out on meager 36 runs. Eventually, India registered one of the worst falls out in the history of Test cricket. The opening duo in the form of Mayank Agarwal, as well as Prithwi Shaw, failed to give a good start once again. Subsequently, the lethal Aussie pace stamped their authority, bagging 9 wickets within short span of time. The dismissal of Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane without troubling the score set the tone of the match. Later, India failed to find its feet against the ripper deliveries of Josh Hazelwood who grabbed a fifer by the end of the innings.
