The Indian cricket team is currently busy in England. The team has a long schedule ahead in the country with 2 more T20Is to be played. This will be followed by 3 ODIs and 5 Test matches. The Indian team has started off the tour on a positive note with a win the first T20I.

However, the tour being a very long one, the team members will definitely miss their family members. The team will be in England for over 2 months and there aren’t many breaks in between. While some of the cricketers have taken their families along with them, it isn’t possible for everyone to do this. The first in this list would be Indian skipper Virat Kohli who has married Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma recently.

Anushka Sharma joins Team India in Cardiff

Both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have very hectic schedules. Anushka was shooting for her upcoming film ‘Sui Dhaaga’ a few days back. However, since the shoot has now come to an end, she found some time out of her busy schedule. She made the most of the time available as she flew to England to join her husband Virat Kohli.

The Bollywood actress and the Indian captain were spotted together in the team bus which left for Cardiff where hosts England will take on India in the second T20I on Friday. Pictures of her with Virat Kohli went viral in the social media. Furthermore, Anushka also took some time to grace the fans with some selfies in Cardiff.

Anushka has been a pillar of strength for Virat Kohli in the recent times and has also accompanied him on various tours earlier. Further, she accompanied Kohli to the BCCI awards in Bengaluru last month where he received the Polly Umrigar Award for best international cricketer for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. Anushka Sharma is expected to cheer for the Indian team for the 2nd T20I in Cardiff that will take place on 6th July 2018.
