Anushka Sharma sends strong message out to trollers

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has hit out at all those who trolled her during the bad performances of the Indian cricket team. The actress was in a relationship with Indian Test captain Virat Kohli and was also seen applauding him at the stadium. However, each time the Indian team loses a match, Anushka Sharma is usually trolled by one and all on Twitter and a few other social media handles.

Many have dubbed her as the unlucky charm for Indian cricket and her boyfriend Virat Kohli and poked fun at her. However, in a recent interview, Sharma stated that trollers do not really affect her anymore.

In an interview with Indian Express, Anushka said, “I have been trolled for other reasons as well. I don’t have a reaction to it. I am not going to react to a bunch of cowards sitting in front of their computer screens who are insecure and have sh*t idea of themselves. They think so lowly of themselves that they feel ki kisi aur ko neeche girayenge toh unki aukaad badegi. Aise logon ke upar kya react karu (if we pull someone else down, we will rise. What to react on such people).”

Like mentioned earlier, Anushka did feel bad early on. She added, “I just feel sorry for them. Initially, when it started, I thought what is going on and I might have felt bad then. Today, I feel sorry for them. I also responded today to Karan Johar’s blog on trolls saying that ignorance is bliss but being aware of what people are saying about you and being unaffected is brave. And like what Karan said in his last line, ‘I am just nicer than you’, I believe that is how it is. You just have to be the bigger person.”
