The Indian cricket team is all set to resume its international duties with the India tour of Australia after a span of nine months. The tour comprises three-match ODI series, starting on November 27 followed by matches on November 29 and December 2. This will be followed by three T20 Internationals on December 4, 6 and 8.

The four-match Test series will then commence from December 17 in Adelaide. A 32-member jumbo squad will take a flight to Sydney right after the final of the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) on November 10 in Dubai.

Virat Kohli, who will be captaining the Indian cricket team in all the three formats of the game, recently shifted to the bio-bubble made by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Dubai after his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was bowed out of the tournament.

The skipper looks quite excited to get back to business in Blue jersey after a long sabbatical due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. On November 10, the Bollywood actress and wife of Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma took to her official Instagram handle to post a picture of her husband. In the adorable snap shared by the diva, Virat can be seen meticulously cleaning his spikes for the upcoming Australia tour.

Sharing the picture as an Instagram story, Anushka wrote, “Caught the husband diligently cleaning his muddy spikes before the tour”
