Drought issues in Cape Town

India’s gruelling tour of South Africa is all set to commence on January 5 in Cape Town which will host the first of the three-match Test series. The state, however, is battling with the drought issues as the scarcity of water has led the officials restricting the use of water. Even the Indian players have been requested to cut down their shower time to two minutes. The pitch is likely to get affected and might get slowed down due to the less amount of water used in the preparation of the wicket.
