Travis Head had to miss out on this game as he is in isolation after testing positive for Covid-19 and Khawaja has made full use of the opportunity.

Meanwhile, England managed to find a place for Stuart Broad finally in their playing XI for Sydney Test and he has proved his worth with a five-wicket haul. Root, Anderson, and Mark Wood all picked up one wicket each while the Australian batters kept making merry of the English bowling lineup. All eyes will now be on the English batters who have been very ordinary so far in the series.
