India have thrashed Pakistan in both their encounters of the Asia Cup so far. While the rivalry was expected to be close after Pakistan’s Champions Trophy triumph last year, what transpired in the middle was an utter disgrace as the Men in Green never looked like even competing forget winning. However, the fans had their moments as they called Shoaib Malik ‘jiju’ during the Super Four game and his wife Sania Mirza has loved it.

Shoaib Malik and Sania got married eight years ago and the most famed couple is still trending among the fans. Every now and then both are asked some weird questions by the reporters or by the fans. With the couple expecting a baby soon, it nationality is being discussed a lot these days.

Amidst all these issues, Sania gets the utmost respect in Pakistan which she has herself admitted as the fans call her ‘bhabhi’ but it happened for the first time that Malik was referred to as ‘jiju’ (sister’s husband) and Sania has enjoyed it to the fullest.

The video of the same is going viral on social media and even the Indian Tennis star has posted the video in her Instagram story.

Here’s her story:

Malik in great form

Shoaib Malik has been the only shining light for Pakistan so far in the Asia Cup. Though he hasn’t hit any century, the veteran is consistent with the willow batting at number four and also got them out of the jail against Afghanistan when the game went down the wire till the last over. Even in the Super Four game against India, he was the glue of their line-up and scored 78 runs but got out at the wrong time due to which his team posted an under-par total.

He should continue playing in the same way if Pakistan has to beat Bangladesh in order to set the finals date with their arch-rivals India.
