Athiya Shetty burns banana bread while baking it; KL Rahul shares it on Instagram

Cricket being such a popular sport in India, keeps all of the cricketers in limelight all the time. And, such is the case with KL Rahul and his rumoured girlfriend Athiya Shetty, the daughter of popular Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty. The talks regarding their relationship never seem to end, given the lack of clarity about its status. Now, adding fuel to fire was the latest picture that KL Rahul shared on his Instagram story.

The Indian opener has been in blazing hot form in the past few months and is constantly grabbing headlines, all thanks to the perfect display of his skills that he has been putting up, each time he is on the field. He has tried it all and enjoyed success too. Rahul batted in the opening slot for the team, shifted to the middle order and even kept the wickets. And, in each of these roles, his performance earned him a lot of praise.

But, this time around, it was pictures shared by him on his Instagram story that made him the talking point. He shared a picture of banana bread with, “Gluten-free/sugar-free banana bread. Expectation.” The next story showed the condition of the bread and reads, “Reality.” written on it. The cricketer also tagged Athiya Shetty, making it clear that she was the one baking it for him.

He then followed it up with a picture of the burned underside of the loaf, tagging Athiya again in the post. Athiya too shared a similar picture on her Instagram handle and mentioned that the bread she was making got burned in the oven.

While both Athiya and KL Rahul have not spoken about their relationship status out in the public, there have been enough instances like this one which shows that something is definitely cooking between the two. An example of this can be the picture that KL Rahul had shared on the same platform with Athiya, posing to make a phone call, while the actress was standing beside him, having a moment of laughter. The picture had as a caption, a famous dialogue from Athiya’s father, Suneil Shetty’s film, “Hello, devi prasad….?” on it.
