Australia once again chased down the total India had posted ahead of them. This time it was 296 and at half-way stage it looked par, considering how the wicket was playing the Indian bowlers started well but the Aussies openers were stable, and despite the fact that they lost more wickets than the previous couple of games; their batsmen didn’t panic. Glenn Maxwell was the star of the game for the Aussies; he played a knock full of strokes and never let pressure get to him. Though Maxwell got out on 96 but by that time Australia had already leveled scores and the win was just a formality.

Australia with that have won the 5-match series 3-0.
