Preview for Dream11 Fantasy

The three-match T20I series between Australia and Sri Lanka commences on Sunday. The visitors lost the thrilling practice game against Prime Ministers XI by just one wicket but they are coming off a sensational series whitewash Pakistan in their own den and will be confident to put up a good show Down Under. Sri Lanka have found a couple of decent players in the shortest format and they are likely to stick to the same set of players in the near future.

Australia, on the other hand, were boosted with their skipper Aaron Finch passing the fitness test ahead of the series opener. However, Andrew Tye has been ruled out of the series with an elbow injury. Sean Abbott has been named his replacement and will be soon joining Australia squad.

Weather Condition/Report:

The forecast on Sunday is not encouraging with clouds likely to hover all over Adelaide for the whole day. However, as of now, there is no possibility of rain coming down but it can’t be turned down completely. The temperature will hover around 17-18 Degrees Celsius during the match according to AccuWeather.

Pitch Report:

The surface at the Adelaide Oval is generally a decent one to bat. With this being the start of the summer in Australia, the pitch should be a belter. The team winning the toss might play it safe and opt to bowl to understand the behaviour of the pitch. A high-scoring game is expected to take place.

Average first innings score: 169 (four T20Is at the venue)

Record of the chasing teams: Won – 2; Lost – 2

Injury and Availability News:

Andrew Tye has been ruled out of the series due to an elbow injury. Sean Abbott has replaced him in the squad.

Aaron Finch has recovered from his side injury and has been declared fit to play the first T20I.

Ashton Turner is fit to bat but he can only field inside the ring and might not bowl if included in the playing XI.
