Rain has played a spoilsport in the ongoing first second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. While only 57 overs were bowled on Day 1, the second day witnessed only 6.2 overs of play. As the weather isn’t expected to get better in the upcoming days, the game is advancing towards a draw.

Speaking of how the contest panned out, Pakistan opted to bat and were 188/2 at stumps on the second day. As the visitors are in a better position, the rain would have frustrated them. Nevertheless, Pakistan players have other ways to keep themselves entertained. While the rain halted the on-field proceedings, Pakistan players started a match inside their dressing room.

The videos of the same were shared by Pakistan Cricket Board’s Twitter page on a thread. “Rain might have kept our boys off the field, but they had a gripping match of their own in the dressing room,” read the caption. The game started with skipper Babar Azam batting first and he had a cautious start.

Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq at loggerheads in the dressing room match

While the Pakistan captain has been a nemesis for many prominent bowlers, his teammate Imam-ul-Haq dismissed him inside the dressing room. “A scorcher from Imam ended his innings,” wrote PCB while sharing a video of Imam dismissing Babar via a clean bowled.

Notably, Babar soon settled the scores with the southpaw by dismissing him. Youngster Saud Shakeel showed also showed some resistance in the contest. Meanwhile, the game might have been started to cut the time. However, things got intense with time. When Imam came out to bat for the second time, Babar claimed to have shattered the virtual stumps and other fielders supported him as well.

However, the left-handed batter wasn’t convinced with Babar’s claim. The same saw the players indulging in a light argument, something which one often sees in street cricket. Notably, Babar, one of the best batters going around, was on fire with the ball in the dressing room game.

In one of the clips, he claimed to have taken a 10-fer after dismissing Bilal Asif for the third time. “Babar was on fire and according to him, he finished with a 10-for. He got Bilal Asif out thrice in slips (as Imam tells us),” notified PCB.
