The solitary test has been rather displeasing owing to the rain interventions. Leaving behind a few sessions, rain has played the spoil sport throughout the test and we are likely to witness a draw result in the test match.
Meanwhile, the ODI squad has been announced for the Bangladesh team. The World Cup skipper of Bangladesh, Mashrafe Mortaza, who took his team through to the quarter finals when they lost against India will be leading the squad for the ODI series.
The batting line up will be monitored by the likes of Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Soumya Sarkar, aided by the all-round brilliance of Shakib-Al-Hasan, who has been appointed as the vice captain.
Taskin Ahmed, the young pacer who was dropped from the test squad has been included into the 14-man ODI squad and he might well pose a serious threat to the Indian batsmen.
