Mahmudullah Riyad finished the series as the second highest run-getter for Bangladesh with 106 runs in 3 matches at an average of 35.33. Despite not scoring well in the 2 of the 3 matches, his knock in the 2nd match is enough to get him a place in the combined XI. In the series opener, he could manage only 25.

His departure triggered a fatal collapse which resulted in Bangladesh losing the match narrowly. He bounced back really well with a well-compiled 75 to guide Bangladesh to a win. Scoring a 75 in a low scoring game speaks volumes about his talent.
