Preview for Dream11 Fantasy

Bangladesh may have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, but not before they were involved in a nail-biting, nails-over-chalkboard stuff, as Donald Tiripano almost pulled off a miraculous heist when he bludgeoned a 28-ball 55 to knock 0ff 72 of the remaining 77 runs that his team had required when he had come out to bat post the dismissal of Sikandar Raza.

That Bangladesh had such a huge total to defend was largely due to a whirlwind 158 off 136 deliveries from Tamim Iqbal, who spearheaded the home side’s innings. With the help of able contributions from Mushfiqur Rahim (55), Mahmudullah (41) and an unbeaten 18-ball 32 by Mohammad Mithun, Tamim propelled the Asian Tigers to an eventual match-winning total of 8-322.

Coming into the final ODI, Zimbabwe would want to take heart from the nail-biting defeat in the second game and will aim at finally trudge past the finishing line and deny the hosts a 3-0 whitewash, who will be looking closely at re-jigging their bowling unit after a lacklustre performance in the previous game.

Weather Condition/Report

Unfortunately, scattered thunderstorms are set to be the order of the day in Sylhet on Friday if the weather reports are to be believed. According to the report, the temperature is set to fluctuate between 18 and 26 degrees Celsius while the humidity is set to hover around 77%. Chances of rain- 30℅

Pitch Condition/Report

The pitch at Sylhet has proved to be a belter for the batsmen in the past two games. But as the game has progressed, it has proved to be on a slower side. That said, with rain set to make its presence felt on Friday, seamers could also come into play.

Average first innings score: 321 (In 2 ODIs played at the venue this series)

Taijul Islam (3-52), Mashrafe Mortaza (1-52) and Mehidy Hasan (1-25) were the picks of the bowlers in the last match.

Zimbabwe: The likes of Tinashe Kamunhukamwe (51), Wesley Madhevere (52) and Sikandar Raza (66) chipped in with half-centuries in the last game but they’ll hope that their senior players in Brendon Taylor and Sean Williams come up with the goods on Friday.

Donald Tiripano claimed 2-55 and backed it up with a whirlwind half-century in the last game and he could very well turn out to be their X-Factor.
