Over the years, one of the most glamorous and exciting games to watch in the BBL has been the clash between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers. The two most successful franchises in BBL history, Scorchers and Sixers might not provide a game of the same intensity, but there will be no dearth in drama. Perth Scorchers, quite uncharacteristically, find themselves at the bottom of the table. They are missing some crucial players like the Marsh brothers, but they still have quality in the squad.
It will be interesting to see how they will end the BBL after an indifferent start to the season as they still have a chance of making it to the knockouts. Sydney Sixers are currently fourth on the table with 8 points and are firmly one of the favourites for the title. Their squad doesn’t have any of the prominent names, but they have some effective players who are doing their bits nicely. Henriques and his side will find it difficult to go all the way, but one cannot rule out their chance completely.
Pitch and Weather
A cloudy and windy weather awaits the players on the Western coast of Australia. The chances of an uninterrupted game are close to zero, but the fans would be hopeful of getting a result. Batting once again will be a hard task at the new Perth Stadium and a low-scoring thriller might be on cards for the fans.
