Perth Scorchers moved back into the top four in the points table with a comfortable 8-wicket win against the Sydney Thunder. Alex Hales lacked support from the other end as he scored 85 off 59 deliveries with 13 boundaries but the Thunder posted only 153/5 in their 20 overs.
