Brisbane Heat were up against Melbourne Stars for the 32nd match of the Big Bash League match on Thursday, January 7. Brisbane were set to defend the DLS target of 129 runs well in 10 overs, and Heat’s Max Bryant displayed some unreal and unimaginable fielding efforts on the field. He literally seemed to have the control of gravity as he flew over the ground and saved a ball near ropes with just one hand.

Melbourne were up with the bat and needed 46 runs in the last two overs. It happened during the second ball of the 9th over, Nick Larkin smashed Lewis Gregory towards the deep midwicket. The ball was all set to land past boundary roped and moved with the same momentum before it was plucked brilliantly by Bryant. He took control of the ball with just one hand in the air and threw it back in the playing arena.

Commentators were just stunned to see the heroics of Bryant and termed the catch ‘unbelievable’. The official Twitter account of BBL shared the video with the caption- “UNBELIEVABLE from Max Bryant! This could be the best fielding game we’ve ever seen!! #BBL10.”

Here is the video displaying Max Bryant’s heroics

Brisbane won the game by 17 runs by D/L method

Brisbane clinched the match by 17 runs at the end (D/L method) even after Gregory leaked 23 runs in the same over. Talking of the match, Chris Lynn was declared as the man of the match for his splendid knock of 48 runs of 23 balls. He was supported well enough by Bryant, who added 31 runs from his end. His fielding efforts just acted as a cherry on the cake on his quickfire cameo. From the end of Stars, Nick Larkin and Marcus Stoinis could add only 35 and 34 runs, respectively, from their bats.
