BCCI has announced India’s ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming home series against the West Indies. However, he reportedly cleared the fitness test before the selection meeting and is now set to lead India in both series. Also, Rohit and Virat Kohli will play together for the first time since the captaincy saga.

He didn’t pick up a single wicket in 18 overs bowled in the first two ODIs and conceded 64 (10 overs) and 67 (8 overs). Jasprit Bumrah, however, has been rested to manage his workload and the same is the case with off-spinner Ravi Ashwin and Mohammed Shami.

Kuldeep Yadav makes his comeback

Kuldeep Yadav became a force to reckon with for India post-2017 Champions Trophy but he found himself on the sidelines in the last few tours. However, he has found a place yet again with India and is expected to be India’s solution for spinners’ struggles. Washington Sundar has also made a comeback after missing the South Africa tour due to a positive COVID test.
