BCCI announces India team for last 2 ODIs and Test series: The All-India Senior Selection Committee met in New Delhi earlier today to select the following squads:

1. Team India for the last two ODIs of the Paytm ODI Trophy against South Africa

2. Team India for the first two Test matches of the Paytm Freedom Trophy against South Africa

3. Boards President XI for a two-day warm-up match against South Africa.

The only major change has come in the face of S. Arvind who replaces Umesh Yadav for the last 2 ODI. Umesh Yadav had a expensive outing in the series so far, no wonder he gets to bite the bullet.

The squads are as follows.
India ODI squad:

MS Dhoni (capt, wk), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Axar Patel, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Mohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, S Arvind, Stuart Binny, Ambati Rayudu, Gurkeerat Mann.

India Test squad (first 2 Tests):

Virat Kohli (capt), Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Amit Mishra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, KL Rahul, Stuart Binny, Varun Aaron, Ishant Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin (subject to fitness).

Board President XI:

Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, Unmukt Chand, Karun Nair, Shreyar Iyer, Naman Ojha, Hardik Pandya, Jayant Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur, Nathu Singh, Karn Sharma Sheldon Jackson.

At the moment after 3 ODIs, South Africa lead the 5-match ODI series 2-1. The remaining two matches will be played in Chennai and Mumbai respectively.

The Test series will begin from November 5 with Mohali, Bengaluru, Nagpur and Delhi as the venues respectively.
