BCCI Appoint Sachin, Sourav and Laxman as Part of their Advisory Committee: Cricket fans in India might surely have something to cheer for at the moment. Recently, BCCI has just  made an official release on their twitter account. And as a matter of fact, after a bunch of speculations, it is official that the legends in the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly have been appointed as a part of the Advisory Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

This measure has been taken by the BCCI to help the Indian Cricket Board to select the coach for the National side. Duncan Fletcher, who earlier replaced Gary Kirsten as the coach of the Indian Cricket team after the triumphant World Cup of 2011, had his contract valid till the end of the World Cup in 2015 in Australia and New Zealand, which was finished on 29^th March this year.

This is surely one of the brilliant moves by the BCCI and at the moment when the Indian Cricket team is going through a series of changes with Virat Kohli acting as the Test Captain of India and MS Dhoni to lead the team on the shorter versions of the game. The board will surely need some expertise advisories and appointing the greats of the game in the likes of the big three, viz. Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman would prove to be the most apt for the development and the swift progress of Cricket in the country.

Also, this decision of the Board also reflects something. Earlier there had some speculations about the fact that Ganguly might be the next coach of the Indian team. Appointing him as a part of the Advisory Committee would ensure that the former Captain will not be taking the role of the coach of the Indian team or even the director of the national team.
