Former Assam cricketer Subhadeep Ghosh is set to tour Australia as the fielding coach of the India Women’s team. In 34 first-class and List A matches, Ghosh scored 623 runs with four half-centuries. The right-handed batsman also played for Railways in his short career. For the Australia tour, he will be accompanied by Amogh Pandit, who has been appointed as the trainer.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the All-India Senior Women’s Selection Committee named two separate squads for the one-off Test, three ODIs and as many T20Is. The players have been a part of the training camp in Bengaluru and will have to undergo mandatory quarantining upon reaching Australia.
