England star all-rounder Ben Stokes was left stranded after the recent London terror attacks on Sunday. Stokes, among many, could not find their way back to London after the attacks as the entire transportation system was brought to a standstill.
Shortly after the terror attack at Manchester during the Ariana Grande’s concert where many lost their lives and went missing, London was made as a target by the extremist. Few terrorists rammed a van in London Bridge and stabbed as many as 6 people to death by the loud chants of “this for Allah”. As many as 48 people were injured during the attacks later around 10 pm.
Ben Stokes went out to have dinner at Leicester Square and later had to navigate past the affected areas of London Bridge and Borough area of the city. Though Ben Stokes was not stranded for long and made his way back to the hotel soon. The International Cricket Council was quick to ensure if all the players taking part in the Champions Trophy were safe and sound.

They further advised the players to stay put in their respective hotels, with the premises of security measures. Ben Stokes has been in red-hot form after playing in the Indian Premier League this season. He came back to England and scored an impressive ton against the South Africans. The powerful all-rounder is an integral part of the English camp for the ongoing Champions Trophy at home. The home side is currently locking horns with the Kiwis at Cardiff, Wales in an exciting Group A encounter. The two side also observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the victims of the London attack.
