Ben Stokes caught smoking while wearing a bandage on the right hand

The Bad Boy of English Cricket off-late, Ben Stokes was seen wearing a bandage on the right hand while smoking a cigarette on the other recently at Jason Roy’s lavish wedding ceremony in France. Many prominent cricketers from the national team including Alex Hales accompanied Stokes in the wedding.

The star all-rounder of England in all formats of the game is still under criminal investigation after his assault on a former soldier who served the British Army in Afghanistan outside Mbargo nightclub at Bristol, following England’s One Day win over West Indies.

The CCTV footage outside the club clearly showed an aggressive Stokes punching the victim till he was floored onto the ground which explains the bandage on his right hand. Stokes, along with his teammate, Alex Hales is currently undergoing the procedures for enquiries and investigation in order to help the Police on the matter.

Apart from Ben Stokes, captain Joe Root, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Eoin Morgan, Alex Hales also attended Jason Roy’s luxury wedding along with their wives and girlfriends (WAGs). Many pictures from the wedding were leaked via the Instagram account of Louise Webber, girlfriend of Jos Buttler.

One of the pictures from her account nearby a swimming pool caught a bandaged Stokes lighting up a cigarette along with some alcoholic beverages whereas his teammates enjoyed their meals.

Both Hales and Stokes did not feature into the final two ODIs of the One day series against West Indies and also sidelined for the Ashes until the pending investigation. England fast bowler Steve Finn has been replaced in the squad in place of Ben Stokes.

By the looks of it, Stokes is all set to miss out on the all-important Ashes series with the investigation going nowhere.
