Best sports mind and a great person: Sushant Singh Rajput

MS Dhoni is perhaps the best ODI skipper India has ever had. MS Dhoni displayed an example of his astute cricketing brain and man management skills during India’s last game against Bangladesh where India won the game narrowly by one run.

His leadership skill has received praises from numerous present and past cricketers. But, this time around he has received appreciation from a different corner. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who portrays reel life Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the upcoming Bollywood biopic the Captain cool’s life, has hailed him as one of the “best sports mind and a great person.”

Sushant is set to play the role of MS Dhoni for the upcoming biopic “M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story”. After India’s win against Bangladesh in the World Twenty20 tournament, Sushant took to Twitter, saying that making even over a 100 films on the Indian cricket legend is “still not enough”.

“We can make 100 films on you and it will still not be enough. You are one of the best sports mind ever and a great person. We love u MS,” Sushant tweeted on Thursday.

The inspiring teaser of the biopic was realesed during the India-Pakistan game on March 19^th. The biopic is directed by Neeraj Pandey. For the film, Sushant was trained by former Indian wicketkeeper Kiran More, and he reportedly injured his ribs while practicing the cricketer’s signature ‘helicopter’ shot.

The movie is produced by Fox Star Studios and stars Kiara Advani, Anupam Kher and Herry Tangri in important roles. The movie is set to release on September 2.
