BetBarter Vanuatu Blast T10 League 2020: Schedule of the tournament unveiled

Vanuatu Cricket is all set to come forward as a huge relief to the cricket fans amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. With no positive cases in the country, the board has decided to organise the T10 League with three teams, MT Bulls, Ifira Sharks and Mighty Efate Panthers, set to take part in the competition starting from May 21.

The tournament is sponsored by BetBarter which is one of the brands of Sky Infotech N.V and is also the upcoming platform for online gaming entertainment. While the format of the Vanuatu Cricket Association presents BetBarter Vanuatu Blast T10 was released last week, the board has finalised the schedule now. It will get underway with the game between MT Bulls and Ifira Sharks at 1 PM local time (7:30 AM IST).

Both the teams will fight it out again in the second match of the day as well which is scheduled to be played at 3 PM local time (9:30 AM IST). After the opening day, two matches will be played on every Saturday and the timings will be same. Each team will play the other team thrice in the league stage with a total of nine matches to be played at the Vanuatu Cricket Ground at the Hybrid Oval.

The grand finale will be played between the top teams of the points table on June 13 at the same venue. As many as 53 cricketers of the country, including players from the Vanuatu national side, will take part in the tournament which is expected to go places.
