'Bhai tuney hi banaya hoga' - Shikhar Dhawan takes a sly dig at Hardik Pandya's cooking skills on Instagram

At a time when there’s no international cricket whatsoever due to COVID-19 pandemic, players are spending their time at home with their families. The coronavirus outbreak has instilled fear across the world and more than 4.7 lakh individuals have died so far. Amid these trying times, players are left with no choice but to stay indoors in the absence of cricketing action.

During these times, many India stalwarts including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have notched up their social media activity. A plethora of players have been sharing their photos and videos while being at home. India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is no different as he has garnered a lot of attention due to his social media antics.

Hardik, after being sidelined from the national side due to an injury, was set to mark his return to international cricket. However, the COVID-19 outbreak served as a roadblock for him. To make things worse, the much-awaited IPL 2020 was also postponed indefinitely in the wake of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Hardik, who has been spending ample time with his family these days, recently shared a picture of himself while trying his hand at cooking. He took to Instagram to showcase his culinary skills as he prepared ‘cheese butter masala’ while donning the chef duties amid the quarantine period.

The picture garnered attention in no time as Hardik’s fans flooded the comments section. Even Hardik’s wife Natasa left a comment full of emojis on the picture. But it was the comment from Shikhar Dhawan which hogged the most attention. The swashbuckling left-hander questioned Hardik’s culinary skills while taking a dig at his cooked dish.

Dhawan commented, “Bilkul Bhai tuney hi banaya hoga.” (Yes we are ready to believe that you have cooked this dish… with laughing emojis)”

Both Pandya and Dhawan were scheduled to don the jerseys of their respective franchises in the thirteenth edition of the IPL. However, they’ll have to wait for a little longer before the sporting action resumes in the near future.
