Some of the big names who took part in the League were Kevin Pietersen, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel, Imran Tahir, Mohammad Hafeez, Tillakaratne Dilshan, etc. Some of the knocks by former cricketers turned a lot of heads, wherein Naman Ojha once smashed a century against World Giants and then played a classy 95-run knock against the same opponents and ended as the highest run-getter of the league.
Pietersen also remained successful in turning back the clock and grabbed the spotlight with his 86 off 38 against Asia Lions. He was also impressive in the final game too. Kulasekara picked the highest number of wickets (8) in the League with an impressive economy of 7.08.
We, at CricTracker, in the entire duration of the League, brought quality-driven content for our fans and remained at the top in delivering news when compared to our other competitors in the market. Apart from news pieces, match predictions and reviews for each game remained to be the cherry on the cake for League-related content. It can be clearly said that the love and response received by LLC in its first chapter has set the tone right for upcoming editions, expected to commence in 2022 September.
Speaking about the association with the tournament, CricTracker CEO/Founder Syed Sujjad said, “We were glad to be part of the tournament which brought several world-class performances to the fore. Unfortunately, a few legends couldn’t make it to the league due to various reasons. Hopefully, they will be available for the upcoming seasons. Our team remained upright in bringing all the required content for fans and we hope to continue associating with various high-profile leagues in the future.”
Legends League Cricket Co-Founder/CEO, Raman Raheja, has also shared his views on CricTracker’s partnership with the league, “It has been a very good partnership with CricTracker. The first season of Legends League Cricket has been phenomenal in terms of fan engagement and viewership. Cricket is a religion in India and these legends have a huge fan following in the Indian subcontinent but seeing the response from the rest of the world was amazing. It’s just a beginning and we will see this grow by leaps and bounds.”
