The cricketing world has been a witness to some bizarre bowling actions. Even as a few of them faded into oblivion, some of them went on to become renowned ones. Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah doesn’t have a conventional bowling action, yet he has tasted a significant amount of success at the highest level after making his debut in international cricket back in 2016.
From the last one year, the right-arm speedster has also carved himself a reputation as an effective bowler in the Test format. Recently, he played the four-match Test series against Australia and finished as the joint highest wicket taker with 21 wickets at an average of 17, which showed that he, well and truly, turned out to be a tough nut to crack for the Aussie batsmen.

He was also adjudged as the Player of the Match in the third encounter at the renowned Melbourne Cricket Ground where he took a six-wicket haul that also turned out to be his best in the longest format. He was also one of the contenders to receive the Player of the Tournament, but that went to right-handed batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, the series’ leading run scorer.
In the meantime, a young kid tried to imitate Bumrah’s action. Even the run-up was alike Bumrah and even the head position and body movements were alike Jasprit. But after bowling, he couldn’t maintain his balance and subsequently, tumbled over.
A Twitter handle by the name of Michael Curtin uploaded a video of the kid and wrote,”The only problem from your great series win may be the next generation of Aussie cricketers you have inspired!”

Bumrah was also impressed with the kid. He took to Twitter and wrote, “The kid is so cute . Give him my best wishes,”
