BPL 2019-20: Broadcasting and Live Streaming details of the tournament

Bangladesh Premier League is one of the most popular T20 leagues and it has received a lot of support from the cricket fans since its arrival. Now it will be heading towards its seventh successive season that will begin from December 11. A total of seven teams will participate in BPL 2019-20 and its final is scheduled to be played on 17th of January 2020.

Now, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has released the list of official broadcasters where the fans of different countries can get to watch the exciting T20 league. It will be an important tournament from the perspective of Bangladesh cricketers because BCB will have a close eye on the players’ performances. The board might look to fast track the good performers into the national side with a marquee event lined next year in Australia.

BPL 2019-20 format and broadcasting channels list

The biggest change in this seventh season of BPL is the name of the teams like Chittagong Vikings have been replaced with Chattogram Challengers, followed by the new name given to other six teams. The format will remain the same as followed in the previous seasons of the tournament with each team playing home and away games against each other in the league stage followed by a first qualifier, eliminator, second qualifier and final.

The previous season was won by Comilla Victorians that is now named as Cumilla Warriors and it was their second title in last seven seasons of BPL played until now. The first match of BPL 2019-20 will be played between Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Thunder at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

The local fans can will get to watch the live telecast of BPL 2019-20 on Gazi TV. Fan Code will live stream the seventh season of the Bangladesh Premier League in the Indian sub-continent. The timings in Bangladesh Premier league have been divided into afternoon and evening match. The first match for the day will begin at 1:00 pm and the next will get kicked off from 6:00 pm.
