US President Donald Trump hogged the headlines post his arrival in India to attend the ‘Namaste Trump’ event that was organized at the newly-built Motera Stadium. After receiving the US President at the airport, India Prime Minister accompanied him to the jam-packed Motera Stadium, which has been built to accommodate over 1.10 lakh people, making it the largest cricket stadium in the world.

Trump was all over Twitter after delivering his much-anticipated speech while addressing a staggering crowd at the Motera Stadium. The US President addressed several topics in his speech and recognized several topics ranging from Bollywood to cricket in his coveted speech.

However, one instance that caught the eye of all the cricket fanatics was Trump’s pronunciation of Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli in his speech. While fumbling to enunciate the names of two cricket stalwarts of India, the US President pronounced Sachin as ‘Soochin Tendolkar’ and Kohli as ‘Virot Kolee’.

Twitter, in no time, was flooded with hilarious memes targetting Trump’s failure in pronouncing the names of Sachin and Kohli. Former English skipper Michael Vaughan also followed the trend at shared a hilarious tweet in the wake of Trump’s mispronunciation. “Can’t wait for @realDonaldTrump to visit Pakistan & see how he pronounces Fakhar Zaman ..!!!,” tweeted Vaughan.

From ICC to Kevin Pietersen– all have been busy in taking a dig at Trump’s funny attempt to pronounce Indian cricketers’ name. Earlier in the day, Vaughan had dished out another tweet in an attempt to take a dig at Sachin Tendulkar. “How are you today Sue Chin @sachin_rt !!!! #DonaldTrumpIndiaVisit,” Vaughan had tweeted.

After Trump’s visit to the Motera Stadium, the US President, along with his wife and first lady Melania, headed towards Agra to stop by the Taj Mahal. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also presented a large portrait of ‘Taj Mahal’ to Trump and his wife before they headed back to Delhi.
