Post his retirement as an explosive batsman on the cricket field, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has often been tagged as the most active person on the various social media platforms, especially on Twitter. The former Indian opener started his recent trend first by wishing the cricketers and other famous persons on their birthday and then also started indulging in some other cherishing banters with his fans and fellow cricketers.

Most recently, Sehwag who is also the Director of the Kings XI Punjab IPL franchise posted a very entertaining and funny dance video, by which he took a comical dig towards his new Punjab overseas player from West Indies, Chris Gayle.

Gayle silences his critics with splendid dance moves

Recently in a video gaining a lot of viewership on the social media, the Windies explosive opener was also seen trying some of the traditional Punjabi dancing moves and was quite nicely enjoying while performing the famous ‘Bhangra Dance’.

He seemed to be getting ready adapt himself in accordance with the traditions followed by his new IPL franchise, the Kings XI Punjab and acknowledged to get accustomed to a Punjab local avatar. After which the Nawab of Najafgarh posted a hilarious dance video to indulge in a humorous banter with the big West Indian cricketer.

“Name someone and say something” read the title of the funny dance video posted by Sehwag on his Twitter handle in which he tagged Gayle as “@henrygayle ” urf Chrisenpreet Gill.”

Gayle offers a sporting reply to the tweet

Following the video posted by the former Indian opener, the Windies big-hitting opener replied to the tweet in a very sporting manner. He replied to Sehwag’s tweet of the dancing video by quoting “Lol” on his Twitter handle. Both Virender Sehwag and Chris Gayle are known to be good friends with each other and have been seen often engaging with each other in comical banter like these.

After representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the last seven years, Gayle will now be playing for the first time for the Punjab franchise in the upcoming edition of the Twenty20 tournament. Kings XI Punjab would be facing the Delhi Daredevils in their opening game on April 8, in Mohali.
