Yuzvendra Chahal and Chris Gayle might have been playing the IPL for different teams from 2018 but it has not affected their friendship at all. The two developed a great camaraderie while playing together for Royal Challengers Bangalore. During their time together with RCB, the two were constantly seen pulling each other’s legs.

Gayle and Chahal rarely squandered an opportunity to have fun at each other’s expense. And the leg-pulling continued even after Gayle was released by RCB after IPL 2017. Time and again, one has seen Gayle taking hilarious digs at Chahal on social media to have some fun. But for a change, Gayle recently showed the other side of his friendship with Chahal.

It all happened after the leg-spinner took to Instagram to post a picture of his and his wife Dhanashree Verma on Instagram. The India star tied the knots with Dhanashree in November last year. Posting the picture, Chahal wrote: “Loving the gains on me and the glow on her face.”

Gayle just loves to have some fun at Chahal’s lean physique but on this occasion, he posted an adorable comment. The West Indies superstar seemed to be approving the photo as he posted a series of emojis including fire and heart emojis. Dhanashree had also commented on the photo with a couple of loved-up emojis.

Chahal and Gayle to be seen in action soon

Yuzvendra Chahal and Chris Gayle will be seen in action soon when they take the field in the upcoming IPL 2021. While Chahal will play for RCB, Gayle will ply his trade for Punjab Kings. IPL 2021 is scheduled to start on April 9 with a match between defending champions Mumbai Indians and RCB. Gayle’s Punjab Kings, on the other hand, will be in action on April 12 when they take on Rajasthan Royals.

Both RCB and Punjab Kings will be desperate to go all the way this season as they look to end their long wait for their maiden IPL trophy. Last year, RCB had made it to the playoffs while Punjab Kings had finished at the sixth spot.
