Chris Lynn to make his debut in Hong Kong T20 Blitz next year

Australian star player, Chris Lynn, is all set to make his debut in Hong Kong T20 Blitz next year in its third edition. He was signed up by Hung Hom JD Jaguars for the next season which will commence in February. The big-hitting batsman is in demand currently across the world in all the T20 leagues. Recently, he penned down the million-dollar deal in Big Bash League (BBL) with the franchise Brisbane Heat. However, Chris was excited to participate in the league next year.

Lynn was also the hot pick in the recently concluded players draft event of Pakistan Super League (PSL). He was snapped up by Lahore Qalandars and will now open the innings for them with another destructive batsman Brendon McCullum. The Queensland cricketer has also featured in Indian Premier League (IPL) and played for Kolkata Knight Riders earlier this year. His strike rate of 147.98 in all the T20s he has played so far makes him the automatic pick for any franchise in the shortest format.

Chris Lynn was extremely happy after signing the deal with the Jaguars franchise for the next edition of Hong Kong T20 Blitz. “I’m really looking forward to coming to Hong Kong next February, I’ve heard great things about the growth of cricket there and look forward to experiencing something new. It’s always exciting to have a new challenge and hopefully I can help the Jaguars lift the trophy. The scores were pretty high last year so it looks like a very entertaining tournament for the fans,” he said.

Susan Lulla, the co-owners of Jaguars praised Lynn for his skills in the T20 format and termed him as an automatic choice for any team. “Chris Lynn would be an automatic choice in any T20 team, be it international or franchise cricket. We were very keen to bring him to play for us and the moment we knew he was recovering well from surgery, we wasted no time in signing him up. After picking some of the best bowlers from Hong Kong cricket, we will have an explosive batsman in our top order to further add to our impressive batting lineup,” Lulla commented.
