The latest edition of Big Ant’s cricket game is all here and promises the most innovative and robust kind of video game the fans would have ever seen. The new series is equipped with ‘improved visuals’ and extensive improvements that will enrich the user’s experience in the context of both gameplay and graphics.

Cricket 22, the official game of Ashes launched on December 2 with new licensed teams and competitions apart from those of England and Australia. The new addition in the game include women’s BBL, CPL, and UK’s new 100-ball format game The Hundred.

Cricket 22 have extended their licensing to West Indies, New Zealand, and Ireland as of now. It ensures that users can use real images of all players, names, and teams. The new commentary panel has also been added to the game which marks the presence of Michael Atherton, Alison Mitchell, Mel Jones, Ian Healy, and Isa Guha.

The women’s games will include the commentary panel led by all the females for the first time. Big Ant has come with new techniques in the departments of fielding and bowling as well where a person can manage training, press conference, and dealing injuries in a pathway to international games.

Cricket 22 will make it easier for all the newcomers to enjoy the game as it is built with an enhanced tutorial section. It will let users take the benefit of the studio’s most detailed simulation of the sport.

The series will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X l S for the first time and has made the best use of new Hardware with the studio touting blinding load speeds. It will also offer the best visual updates to the users to make it look like the most realistic game.

This is our fifth cricket simulation title, and it really represents the cumulation of everything that we’ve learned on this 10-year (and counting) journey,” stated Big Ant CEO Ross Symons as quoted by cricket.com.au.

Cricket 22 was made available to users on December 2 and those who pre-ordered the set got access to ‘The Nets Challenge’. It provided users with early access to nets and training sessions. The game is available on the official Cricket Australia store, via Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox online stores.

Those who will buy copies of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will get a free upgrade when the latest generation hardware comes in the market. A Nintendo Switch version of Cricket 22 is all likely for January 2022.
