England’s Harry Brook is known to be the epitome of new-era batting. He can open, play in the middle, and tonk the ball around like a butcher. Harry Brook has once and again scored exceptionally against the top team to make a name for himself on the world stage in recent times.

He has made his debut in ODI recently and played only 6 games yet but his Test average of 62 and a strike rate of above 90 proves his T20 prowess is not a fluke. No wonder England managed to pit him in the squad even at the cost of veteran Jason Roy. However, he is yet to prove that he can pace his innings in the 50-over cricket to play longer innings in the World event.

Even though with only half a dozen matches under his belt, England will rely a lot on his powerplay batting if they want to set big scores. The Brits are the defending champions and with a weaker bowling setup, they rely heavily on their batting. Jos Buttler-led side has players like Ben Stokes, Liam Livingstone, and Moeen Ali in their squad.
