Hardik Pandya’s eventual return could create another selection dilemma for India. If the star all-rounder returns to the side, either Shivam Dube or Nitish Kumar Reddy could make way, depending on the team’s preferred balance. Even in Pandya’s absence, India could consider using specialist batters or bowlers instead of playing both Dube and Nitish, as their primary strength lies with the bat.

The management will also have to assess how much bowling each player can realistically offer. While having multiple all-rounders provides flexibility, it could come at the cost of a specialist player.
