2. Most wins while chasing 

India seems to have done a better job in One Day Internationals (ODIs) when they have batted second and numbers also tell the story. Out of the 535 victories the Men in Blue have had in ODIs, 302 of them have come while chasing.

India’s staggering tally is the most by a team in the 50-over format. The likes of MS Dhoni and Kohli who are some of the best chase masters that the game has seen have represented India on the biggest stage. This has been one of the reasons why India stands at the top of the list when it comes to securing wins while batting second.

Australia, who have the most number of victories (592) in ODIs, come second on the list, having stood tall 258 times while batting second. Given the depth of talent in the Indian cricketing circles, the Men in Blue are likely to remain at the top spot in the years to come.
