The Indian Premier League is the grandest T20 League in the world. In the 15 editions of the marquee tournament played till now, one has seen the greatest of the cricketers such as Chris Gayle, Shane Warne, and AB de Villiers take the stage and strive to be the best of the best.

Unfortunately, in the rich history of the marquee tournament, there have been some T20 stars who despite proving their worth in the T20 circuit have not yet got an opportunity to feature in the high-profile competition. Let us look at the prominent players who are yet to play in the Indian T20 carnival.

5. Cameron Green

Cameron Green has been one of the exciting prospects in Australian cricketing circles. He started his international career with the longest format of the game in the year 2020 and has set the white-ball circuit on fire of late with his stunning performances with both bat and ball.

The 23-year-old has scored 249 runs in 11 ODIs played this calendar year at a strike rate of 93.60 and also bagged 11 scalps at an economy of 4.84. Green went on to make his T20I debut this year and has just been outstanding. The Australian all-rounder has played seven games so far and scored 136 runs at a phenomenal strike rate of 174.35. Also, he has picked five wickets for Australia in the shortest format.

A seam-bowling all-rounder has always been in top demand in the IPL market. Though Green has not featured in the lucrative T20 tournament yet, given his meteoric rise of late a big IPL contract could be around the corner.
