Shubman Gill was the leading run-getter of the series, accumulating 334 runs across three games at an average of 167 and a strike rate of 135.22. His tally included one century and one double century, making him the standout batter of the entire series.

The centrepiece of Gill's series was his unbeaten 223 in the 2nd ODI at Guwahati on September 30, 2026. He faced 133 balls and struck 26 fours and 8 sixes. West Indies had posted 405/7, but India chased down 406/2 in 43.3 overs, winning by 8 wickets with 39 balls to spare. Gill was named Player of the Match and also recorded the fastest double century in ODI history during that innings.
