3. Romario Shepherd

Sunrisers Hyderabad spent a whopping INR 7.75 crores in order to sign the West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd ahead of the 15th edition of the competition. However, the management failed to use the player because of their team combination and in the end, the 27-year-old got to play only three matches last season.

He scored 58 runs at a strike rate of 141.46 and picked up three wickets in the process. His economy rate of 10.89 didn’t work in his favour and thus, he was released ahead of the upcoming auction.

Now, after not being able to prove himself in the Indian sub-continent, the Caribbean all-rounder is not expected to get the same kind of hype as last season. With the availability of many other top-notch all-rounders, Shepherd might get picked up for his base price.
