Yesteryear legends eagerly look forward to LLC Season 3

All the former cricketers who will be taking part in this edition of the LLC are pretty much excited and are looking forward to taking the field. The first edition of the competition was held in January 2022, in Muscat, Oman and featured three teams before the tournament expanded to four teams for the second edition of the competition that was played in India in September 2022.

This version of the competition is set to be played in Qatar and will once again feature four teams: India Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Manipal Tigers and Bhilwara Kings. Notably, the stars involved in the competition include some of the greats of the game including Jacques Kallis, Muttiah Muralitharan, Chris Gayle, Virender Sehwag, Brett Lee, and Harbhajan Singh, to name a few.

While speaking with NewsdayExpress, Harbhajan Singh was quoted as saying, "I loved to be in the Cricket field with Manipal Tigers playing LLC-2 and it would be great to go back into the field with the upcoming LLC Masters". Singh successfully led India Maharajas against the World Giants team in the exhibition game played at Kolkata as part of season 2, commemorating 75 years of Indian Independence.

Meanwhile, the former Indian all rounder, Irfan Pathan, expressed himself by saying, "Excited to announce that I'll be back in action again playing Legends League Cricket in February. And this time playing for Team India so I am really looking forward to it."

The legendary Australian bigwig, Shane Watson, said, "It was fun playing for Bhilwara Kings last season, and now I am ready to play for the world team for the LLC Masters".

The duration of the LLC Season 3 will be from February 27 till March 8, 2023. Players from as many as 12 nations will be participating in the tournament.
