After winning the first match of the tournament against Pakistan, team India will next face Hong Kong and with a win over them, they can qualify for the super fours as the league leaders. On the other hand, Hong Kong are unbeaten in the tournament and won all three of their qualifiers against Singapore, Kuwait and UAE. Thus, both sets of fans are quite eager to witness what’s to come when India challenges Hong Kong on 31st of August at Dubai International Stadium.

Interestingly, not a lot of fans remember but Hong Kong came very close to beating India in the 2018 Asia Cup. Chasing the match, Nizakat Khan made 92 runs and gave Hong Kong a brilliant start but the middle order failed to capitalise as India won by 26 runs. Khan, along with Yasim Murtaza and Babar Hayat are their main batters and most importantly, all three of them showed enough fire power in the qualifiers. Meanwhile, Ehsan Khan and youngster Ayush Shukla have been brilliant with the bowl.

India on the other hand recorded a five-wicket victory over their arch-rivals Pakistan to begin their Asia Cup campaign. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya looked sharp with the ball and later the all rounder played a blistering knock of 33 off just 17 deliveries to take India home. Hardik looked in great shape while Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja played crucial knocks in the build-up to victory. Spinners did get some help in the second innings of the match but that depends on the condition.

Here’s a how weather might be during India versus Hong Kong

Even though it will be severely hot during the day, the temperature will drop in the night to 31 degree celsius. There’s absolutely no chance of rain as the day is expected to be a warm one. Wind will gust at 30 km/h with 0% cloud cover.

Bowling first will be ideal in these conditions as the teams might play only one spinner. India is very unlikely to make a tactical move while Hong Kong is likely to field the same XI that played against UAE in the playoffs.
