Sooryavanshi's achievement holds particular significance in Indian sporting history. At 15 years, 6 months and 6 days, he became the youngest Indian to win an Asian Games gold medal as part of a team. While Saurabh Chaudhary remains the youngest Indian to win an individual Asian Games gold medal, Sooryavanshi's feat represents a milestone for the younger generation of Indian cricketers. BCA Secretary Ziaul Arfin also acknowledged the accomplishment, highlighting its importance for the cricketing community in Bihar.

"The Gold Medal at the Asian Games is a memorable achievement for Vaibhav and for the entire cricket fraternity of Bihar.
