Naresh Ojha, the Joint Secretary of CAB, has officially confirmed the receipt of an email from the Manipur Cricket Association, earnestly seeking a place to prepare for the forthcoming season. Though the ultimate decision lies with CAB President Snehashis Ganguly, who is presently away, it is anticipated to be reached within the following week. The possibility of a favorable outcome instills hope in the cricketing community of Manipur, fervently yearning for progress amidst these trying circumstances.

"We have been instrumental in fostering the growth of cricket in North-East India. This time as well, I shall thoroughly consider all aspects and extend help if feasible," Naresh Ojha was quoted as saying by India Today, as he assured underscoring CAB's unwavering dedication to supporting cricket's expansion in the region. 

It is noteworthy that the association has a commendable track record of assisting in the development of cricket in the North-Eastern states, a legacy initiated by Avishek Dalmiya during his tenure as CAB President and consistently upheld ever since.

Manipur Cricket Team, presently engaged in the Deodhar Trophy in Pondicherry, finds itself ensnared in a difficult situation due to the prevailing crisis in their homeland. Consequently, there are no immediate plans to return home. Instead, the team pins its hopes on the Cricket Association of Bengal, relying on their provision of essential support and facilities, thereby enabling them to persist in their cricketing pursuits during these arduous times.
