Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was at his cheeky best during the post-match press conference after his team defeated South Africa in Cape Town on January 4. After losing the first Test by an innings and 32 runs in Centurion, India put in an improved performance to win the second Test by seven wickets.

Meanwhile, when a reporter tried to ask Rohit about his T20I career, questioning him about the upcoming Afghanistan series, the Indian skipper had a cheeky reply in mind. "Dimaag laga rahe ho aap (You are using you brain)...let's concentrate on Cape Town now", Rohit said hilariously.

It is worth noting that India will take on Afghanistan in three T20Is on January 11, 14, and 17, and many fans lie in the wait to see whether senior players like Rohit and Virat Kohli will be included or not.

It will be one of our best Test match victories: Rohit Sharma

Rohit branded India's win in Cape Town "one of the best ever", adding that it was right up there with every historic win for India in Tests. The skipper opined that comparing the win with the famous triumph in Gabba from 2020-21 is quite tough as each Test victory has its own relevance.

"It will be one of our best Test match victories. Having never won here, it's right up there with all the victories we have had," Rohit said. "It's hard to compare Tests which you win elsewhere. Hard to rank these Tests. Every Test match has it's own relevance and importance. The game in Gabba. The last time Australia lost there was 1988, I think. It became their fortress and the way we won that Test was important, you can't really rank the Tests. It's right up there though. That shows how important a venue it is to come here and win. Credit to the team."
