"My first vision is to qualify for the World Cup. I’ve seen the dedication and hard work among the players. I’m not interested in the past, but I firmly believe that Kenyans possess the spirit of champions. I’ve been watching Kenyan cricket matches on YouTube, and I’m impressed with the talent I see. It’s evident that the players are in good shape,” said Ganesh to 777 Score.

Kenya will eye for resurgence taking learnings from past

Kenya have shown underwhelming performance in white-ball cricket, the team lost the ODI status in 2014 as they could not make it to the top four in the Cricket World Cup Qualifier. The team has also participated in three editions of the Champions Trophy from 2000 to 2004, adding to their five consecutive World Cup participation from 1996 to 2011. Speaking of their T20 World Cup appearances, they featured in the inaugural edition back in 2007 but have failed to make it since then.
