Star Australia skipper Pat Cummins has conquered world cricket, winning the World Test championship with Australia. Cummins followed it up by defying all odds and defeating India in the final of the ODI World Cup 2023. After his heroic performances for Australia, Cummins was roped in by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL auction, surpassing the 20 crore mark.

It is safe to say that Cummins has followed his form and done a commendable job in leading SRH to the final of the IPL 2024. The side finished in second place in the standings and lost the first qualifier of the tournament. However, they went on to win Qualifier 2 and face KKR in the summit clash.

During the side’s final clash against KKR, a former Indian cricketer made a hilarious comment about Pat Cummins’ success, opining that he would have won the Lok Sabha elections too if he were contesting.

"If Pat Cummins contests for LokSabha elections, he might win that too,” Suresh Raina said on air.
