The ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifiers are set to commence on the 18th of September, with two places up for grabs in the showcase event in South Africa next year. Eight emerging nations will tussle in a T20I competition played across two venues in Abu Dhabi's Zayed Cricket Stadium and Tolerance Oval.

The eight teams are divided into two groups of four each, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the playoffs. The remaining top two teams at the end of the tournament, after the grand finale of Sunday, 25th September, will book their place on the plane leaving for South Africa in February 2023.

Bangladesh, who are the highest ranked nation in the qualifiers, are placed in Group A alongside Ireland, Scotland, and the USA, while Group B consists of Thailand, Zimbabwe, PNG, and UAE. While Bangladesh are the favorite to join South Africa, Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and West Indies at the showpiece event, the United States are the dark horses for the Qualifier.
