English sensation Harry Brook has been in fantastic form of late and the 24-year-old was exceptional for England in their recent Test series against New Zealand. He was named Player of the Match for his knocks of 89 and 54 runs in the first Test that England won by a whopping 267 runs.

In the second Test that England lost by the barest of margins, Brook played a monstrous knock of 186 runs in the first innings. His recent performances could be integral to him booking his place in the England squad for the upcoming Ashes series.

After his influential performances against New Zealand, Brook has now flown out to America as he is all set to join Major League Baseball (MLB) side St. Louis Cardinals. The MLB side will be taking part in spring training in Florida soon.

Can't wait to try my hand at hitting some home runs: Brook

After the partnership, Brook came forward to reflect on his upcoming experience. He also opined that he cannot wait to try out baseball.

"I'm really excited for this partnership and can't wait to try my hand at hitting some home runs, I'm intrigued to see how different it is to cricket and what similarities there are too - will a home run feel as good as hitting a six?" Brook was quoted as saying by the Mirror.

"I'm also excited to learn from how other professional sportspeople go about their game and see if there are any transferable skills between batting in baseball and cricket. It's going to be amazing to see baseball first hand in the US and help spread the word back in the UK and hopefully help build baseball's fan base here," he added.
