Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was the standout performer with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 110 off 86 balls. His match-winning innings featured 14 fours and three sixes and came at an impressive strike rate of 127.90. Jaiswal laid the foundation for India's comfortable chase by sharing a 170-run opening partnership with Rohit Sharma in 139 balls. After Rohit's dismissal, he remained unbeaten and added a further 54 runs for the second wicket with Shreyas Iyer in just 35 balls, guiding India to victory and completing the 3-0 series sweep over Afghanistan.

Right-arm pacer Prasidh Krishna was the standout bowler of the match, producing a superb spell of 5/23 in 8.2 overs, including two maiden overs. His incisive bowling dismantled the Afghanistan batting lineup as he accounted for the wickets of Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi, and Darwish Rasooli.
